My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I got was a bit cramped and oddly shaped, and the noise coming from the lobby was quite bothersome. On the bright side, I had a partial view of Resurrection Bay which was lovely, and the proximity to the bay and Alaska Sealife Center was very convenient.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was cramped, odd shaped, and noisy from the lobby. However, I appreciated the partial view of Resurrection Bay and the short walk to the bay and Alaska Sealife Center.
Service
7.0
The service at the hotel was a mixed bag. While some staff members like Shamara were very accommodating and professional, there were instances where the service fell short, such as the encounter with a foul odor at the front desk.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel was a highlight for me. Being close to Resurrection Bay and the SeaLife Center was fantastic, despite the small size of the hotel. The proximity to the bay and the park added to the overall experience.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience at the hotel was a bit underwhelming. While the continental buffet was decent, the issues with the quality of the breakfast items like the lack of oatmeal and small yogurts were disappointing.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were average.

7.4/10

Upon checking into my room, I found a workman's tools and a non-functioning door lock, which was disappointing considering the high price of over 300 USD per night. However, the room itself was spacious and had a decent included breakfast. There was limited closet space for a longer stay, but overall, the room was pretty standard for the brand.

The room was spacious and offered a decent included breakfast, but had a workman's tools and a non-functioning door lock upon arrival.
Service
8.0
Despite some routine problems that the clerk couldn't handle, the service was very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They were helpful in answering our questions, although the experience stank so bad that we had to approach to ask about the breakfast.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was very convenient, right across from Sealife Center, shops, restaurants, and Resurrection Bay. It was nice and within walking distance of downtown and the Sea Life Center.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was standard fare, but unfortunately, they ran out of oatmeal and very small yogurts on day 3 due to a lack of staff. The gyu-don dishes were exceptionally good, though.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were adequate with dry cleaning and laundry services available. However, there were a couple of issues that could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

5.6/10

The hotel was quite expensive at over $200 per night, which felt steep. Our room wasn't ready upon arrival at 5 pm and lacked thorough servicing during our three-night stay, with only bins being emptied once. The noise levels were noticeable, but the convenience of parking just outside our room was a plus.

Rooms
5.0
The room was quite loud and didn't receive thorough servicing during our stay, despite the high cost.
Service
6.0
The staff had a mix of bad attitudes and friendliness, making the service experience somewhat inconsistent.
Location
8.0
The location was ideal, right across the street from the bay and close to various restaurants and activities, although not near the harbor for fjord cruises.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was mediocre, especially when compared to other places we have visited. The variety of items was lacking, and it was far from impressive.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacked notable facilities, not offering much to enhance the stay experience.
